This is part one of my, heavily biased, opinion on revolvers vs. semi-auto pistols. I compare two Smith & Wesson Chiefs Specials. One is a model 36 from the late 1950's and the other is a 3rd generation 2003 CS-9 semi-auto. The CS9 is a 9 mm. The model 36 is 38 special. Both have seen more than a thousand rounds. The model 36 has only failed on a dud (reloaded) round. The CS9 has had a few FTFs and FTEs. However, the CS9 is reliable more than 99% of the time. Feel free to disagree and comment! Please subscribe, add me as friend, and rate this video. I will have many more videos on reloading, guns, booze, SHTF, and all kinds of similar stuff. STAY TUNED!!!

Removing the serrations from the trigger face on a Smith and Wesson revolver can improve the feel and trigger pull when shooting the gun in double action. Larry Potterfield, CEO and Founder of MidwayUSA, walks through this process using only a rotary tool. Starting with a coarse grinding wheel, the bulk of the serrations are removed. This is followed by polishing with a sanding drum and consecutively finer polishing bits. Once the surface has been polished, finish the metal with a little cold blue.

I show some differences between Colt clones and Ruger single-action revolvers. The guns shown are a Ruger Vaquero .357, a United States Firearms (USFA) Rodeo II .38 special. There is a cameo by an Uberti 7 inch colt clone, as well. I love them all!
