The AR-10 is an American 7.62 mm battle rifle developed by Eugene Stoner in the late 1950s at ArmaLite. The rifle had innovative features at the time of its introduction, and while the AR-10 was not adopted, it eventually led to the development of the M16 Series rifles.
The design is now 55 years old, and still being used to this day.
